Finding Community At Saint Helen
After joining Saint Helen, Pamela participated in the Sing and Pray music program with her children and was a CCD teacher at her home for over 5 years; it was a group for working moms (whom she is still friends with), who appreciated the flexibility that the evening sessions provided. She also volunteers at many different events at Saint Helen. Her husband, Burns, a landscape architect, decided to participate in the OCIA program and was welcomed into the Catholic Church in 2006. Pamela and Burns’s daughter, Victoria, following in her parents’ footsteps, is very involved at Saint Helen and is presently a peer minister.
